Highlight | Cutting Edge CNC Technology
The design and basic function of Salt Air was the type of brilliant simplicity you typically find when working with Charles Clark and Clark Cooper Concepts, a Boutique Restaurant Group located in Houston. This is the type of collaborative experience one can expect when working with Magnate Custom Construction to bring hospitality experiences to life.
The idea was simple enough, build a space utilizing the best grade materials and cutting edge CNC technology that would allow an authentic, high end, seafood experience to transpire.
A beautiful feature of the space is the louver doors that separate the private dining from the main dining. The resulting doors were a confluence of technological prowess and man hours.
All of the wood material was harvested from a local grove. From timber to finished product. The petrified back bar tree element was found at the bottom of a local swamp and with the assistance of a small John boat it was brought to the shop for mending.
These measures were taken to create the authentic culinary-seafood experience. If you are interested in working with Magnate Custom will be happy to step you through our process to expand your guest experience beyond the plate.

Highlight | Sustainably sourced materials
From concept to creation and bringing creation to fruition, Caracol was nothing short of creative euphoria. Working hand in hand with chef Hugo Ortega and Caracol’s caretakers was the utmost collaborative experience- a trademark of working with Magnate Custom.
The concept was to create an atmosphere that would tie together not only the vibrant culture found along Mexico’s coastlines but to also instill a sense of farm to table community.
Sustainability in these regions is crucial for life.
All of the material used to build Caracol was locally sourced just like the cuisine. This serves to engulf the guest in an experience that begins with the cuisine on the plate and encapsulates the whole self with vibrant environmental surroundings.
Whether it was salvaging 300 year old white oak from a fallen barn or fabricating fixtures from historic dwellings & farm equipment. The antique finishes used in the furniture reflect a nautical setting just like what you would find along Mexico’s oceanic regions.
Every piece was placed with care and the utmost consideration that Magnate takes seriously on every project.

Highlight | Aromatic wine display & room divider
Crisp is a family establishment serving the Heights Neighborhood of Houston for over 100 years. Serving a longstanding establishment and keeping up the tradition of community in the design was pivotal to the success of this project.
The concept was to create an experience centered around the collection of the wine- as it is such a crucial part of the enjoyment of the meal at this venue. The focal piece was the aromatic wine display and the open wine coolers that acted as the divider between dining and bar areas. Known for chef inspired Italian cuisine it was pivotal to bring the aromatic wine into the sensory experience of the customer.
Cutting edge CNC technology was used to ensure a timely production and installation schedule. Creating old world style in new construction was absolute enjoyment.
